Kieran is a stand out pupil at One, consistently achieving A and A* grades with humility, grace and modesty. An outstanding student with a warm and pleasant demeanour, he is a well-liked student and helpful young man, who is willing to go the extra mile to achieve his best. He has been successful in his application to Cambridge University and is a credit to One, and any institution where he is a member.

  • Sam Watton, One, Ipswich

Sam has exceeded all expectations at One. He is expected to achieve highly at A Level, and has gone on to interviews at Oxford. He is described as an articulate and confident young man who is fully prepared to leave One and conquer the world! He is extremely mathematically minded and has flourished at the college. Given the issues he had to overcome, he deserves to have his hard work recognised. He is an exceptional example of how, with the right support in place, a student can overcome difficulties and go onto great things.

 

  • Saffron Baker, One, Ipswich

Saffron joined One to study A-Levels in September 2014, but took a little time to settle as she found the transition from GCSE to A Level difficult. However, her confidence and skills have grown and she is increasing in independence. She balances her studies with her extra-curricular interest of show jumping, which she has taken to a high level. Saffron has gone on to exceed all expectations. She is a cheerful and sociable student who has now applied to University, aspiring to a career in primary school teaching.
