WINNER: Phoebe Swann, Lavenham Community Primary School
Since her younger sister was diagnosed with autism, Phoebe has been proactive in finding out more about the condition. She gave a presentation to the whole school to help the other children to understand and accept her sister, and help her to settle in at the school. She has also organised fundraising for sensory resources for the school and the National Autistic Society. Phoebe was nominated for her amazing strength through a very difficult time, and how she is influencing and inspiring the rest of her school to accept and understand the needs of others.
