Michael Lynch – Springfield Junior School

Michael had a vision for Springfield Junior School to become an outstanding school and has worked as part of his leadership team to ensure that all pupils, staff and parents understand the high expectations required to improve attainment. He is an inspirational leader who wants the best for all Suffolk pupils and inspires all staff he works with. He has also given support to other schools during headteacher absence, sharing good practice and maintaining clear leadership.

Jo Kidby – Nacton CEVC Primary

As headteacher at Nacton CEVC Primary, Jo has the highest aspirations for each pupil, and continuously strives for the best, personally and for the staff, pupils and governors. Jo also acts as a challenge partner for other schools and a mentor to other head teachers, as well as working with other local schools in assessing lessons and training. She has built an ethos in which all individuals are valued, feel part of the community and supported in order to flourish in preparation for the next step in their learning journey.

Sarah Skinner – Claydon High

Sarah’s vision is that every young person should aim to ‘Be the Best’ they can be and this guides the way in which the school and all of its staff work to support students in order to make this vision a reality. She has led the school to achieve excellent outcomes for disadvantaged students, improved attainment over the last three years and moved the school out of “Requires Improvement” to achieve a Good Ofsted judgement in June 2014.
